Art therapy is form of psychotherapy that can be implemented with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
"Art therapy is a mental health profession in which clients, facilitated by the art therapist, use art media, the creative process, and the resulting artwork to explore their feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior and addictions, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem."

My approach to treatment is grounded in Holistic theory, the belief of treating "the whole person." We all have our own experiences and perceptions of the world and relationships based on familial, biological, societal, and cultural influences.
I believe in working alongside the client to promote the insight, awareness, and empowerment residing within the individual to facilitate change and ultimately healing.
Child and Family Therapy
Every family has their own strengths, as well as, struggles. I work with families to identify those strengths, as well as, develop their own unique treatment goals.
I utilize family systems theory, behavior modification, communication and problem solving skills, parenting skills, and care coordination with professionals in the school system and primary care.
